Grant Lien: Jim is a very experienced barber. Reasonable prices, best to get an appointment. I would recommend Jim at the downtown barber to anyone looking for a great hair cut. I get a medium fade and Jim never misses a beat.

Tyler Zimmer: Jim, the owner, is the best barber in town. He gives a great haircut and always makes you feel relaxed. Always a clean shop and the other patrons are always friendly. While I can't speak for the ladies out there, I would recommend him to any guy in Helena. I look forward to my haircut every couple of weeks and my conversations with Jim about hunting, our dogs and his business. And if he can tell I'm not in the mood to talk and just want to sit there, he will leave me alone. Can't speak highly enough about this place.If you have a haircut you want or have received in the past, I highly recommend bringing in a picture of it for him to go off of. He can recreate a lot of haircuts.
